electra: I've been two days out and I have just seen your answer. I've rewatched all 25-20 min. and, sadly, the spanish version doesn't get the scene you are talking about. When Sandra Dee and John Saxon come out the police station (see 1959 Savoy) and they are talking about to get married, the scene changes into Lana Turner's home. And from this point on, all the the scenes are filmed inside that home. As I said in comments, my copy is 1:47:01 long and according IMDB the movie is 1:52.00 (112 min.) long. I suspect that those 5 min. were cout out for the spanish version and, on them, we can see the two tone Belvedere. The only point I can add here the Belvedere you are referring is when Sandra Dee is walking along house cornice (before Quinn loses his balance and falls) and for only 2 seconds the camera shows Saxon waiting for her next to a convertible. When I watched the scene I only see a little and very dark vehicle not used before that so, for me, only was a dark and little worthless background. Main picture has extra light for a better ID but even adding a lot of light more the Belvedere is only barely seen. According your comments I suspect it is seen with better views because, only with this view, the ID of the car is very difficult. Well, if in future someone gets a full copy of this melodrama, remember to get a capture of the Belvedere that electra225 said. Thank youuuuu!!! |

Dear Vilero, Thank You for Your business. Yes, I just checked on my own old VHS and in the Italian version that car is seen for more time and You can see very well the side with the tipical two tone accent and the rear part. You have been very clever to find the car as it appeared for such a short time in Your version and I congratulate with You... |
