Very blurred image, but the vinyl roof suggests a 2000E. |

Film date too early for 2000E (1967); instead I think it's a 1965 Consul Corsair 1500 GT Crayford convertible (if it was a V4 you'd see the winged badge in front of the bonnet). Most Crayford Corsairs were based on the Oct65 onwards V4, but a handful of earlier GTs were converted in first half of 1965 so this very rare and even rarer as LHD - possibly 1 of only 2-3 at most???? |

I think you're right about it being a Crayford, the roofline is much to awkward for a saloon. |

No sign of a rear side window, which suggests a Crayford Corsair Cabriolet (19 made, converted on their behalf by Karl Deutsch in Germany) rather than the normal Convertible (199 made). Info here and here (scroll down). Slightly raising an eyebrow as it's unclear if Cabrios were made on Consul Corsairs - the narrative suggests only on Corsairs, and a 66 film date is very very tight. (However there is a glitch on Crayford's own page - the V4 Corsair launched in Oct 65, not Oct 66, so it is possible here). |
