In this accident, the driver of the vehicle lost control and skidded off the right side of the road and hit an embankment, causing the vehicle to flip end over end, before taking out a fence and crashing into a post where several mailboxes were mounted. The crossbar that the mailboxes mounted to, had skewed through the vehicle's windscreen and through the steering wheel towards left rear of the vehicle on the driver's side. Despite the severity of the accident, both the driver and the passenger survived with minor injuries. |
