wow. let me try to wrap my head around this one in stages. based on the tail light panel, visor style, and hood line ~ it's at least a 1979 model S130 280ZX. by the roof line, i'd say it looks like what's left of a 2+2 model. if we're to assume that's a turbo port in that odd nose, and the original car was a turbo 2+2, it would have had to be a 1982 or 1983 model only. possibly: "1982 Datsun 280ZX 2+2 Turbo [S130]"..? -- Last edit: 2010-11-17 00:33:40 |

I believe that it exists as a racecar, but I find it strange that they used a real racecar in a movie: usually they use replicas |

Remember that, as here there is often little money (this movie is a class B), is sure it was a real race car, but not the paint job. In addition, driven by a real pilot, as I said in previous comments, I find it even more credible career, and who do not know "replica" of a car as rare as the 280ZX |
