It's either a Pontiac J2000, 2000, 2000 Sunbird, or just a Sunbird. I'd guess it's an '85 Sunbird, based on the assumption that most of the background cars were brand new at the time, but I have nothing more. |

In 1984 it was named the 2000 Sunbird and in 1985 it was just Sunbird. |

I'm guessing 1985 Sunbird based on Hecubus's theory. |

I'm with hiergehts. I'm postive it is either an '82 or '83. It has the front fascia that only 82's and 83's had. (ie: more angular lower section with full width black lower grille. 84-86 (and some 87's) had the more rounded one where the lower lights are seperated from the lower grille. Therefore, it's indeed a J2000/2000. -- Last edit: 2007-11-11 04:58:48 |

440 Mopar is correct. The 1984 was the start of a more rounded lower front facia. When I had my 1984 Sunbird, I was looking for a front facia lik eth eone pictured above, since I thought it looked more aggresive. |
