I might be wrong, but I'd say it's rather a ca. 1977, Mazda-sourced and made Ford Courier. |

That was actually a lucky punch. I had to watch the movie "Intersection" a couple of days ago( it's already listed here) which also features a pick-up like this. Otherwise it would've been a LUV for me as well. |

Pretty bizarre! If you look at the body lines and hood, this is actually a 71-76 courier with the grill and bumper of a 78-82 courier tacked on. (it has the holes for the turn signals in the grill, but they're not there) Notice how the hood is straight across but the grill is angled and doesn't fit right. |

Looks like this is a '76, they enlarged the cab a year ahead of the big facelift and angled the rain gutter downward at the same time. '71-5 had the rain gutter continue straight to the back of the cab and was noticeably shorter between the rear edge of the door and the back of the cab. |
