I was thinking about a pop quiz for non-British members about the location of the second thumb but it is too easy. -- Last edit: 2011-09-15 22:27:20 |

It's a nice looking car and it feels much more solid and sharper to drive than the Vectra. BUT... It has the worst CO2 emissions in its class, fuel economy doesn't seem to be all that impressive either, ridiculous hear headroom in the hatchback version and I know four ex-Insignia owners already, who vowed to never buy another Vauxhall again... |

I've not tried one yet. For me it is just too flash. The Vectra was a car I liked as it was solid and functional. It was a bland car but it was reliable, comfortable and for me had good controls. This seems to have put form over function in both the inside and outside. I feel the same with the new Astra. Both are also pretty expensive (admittedly before the vast discounts on offer. You can now get £3-4,000 off just by walking into a showroom) especially when you consider that Audi, BMW and Mercedes are giving pretty decent specs in chasing the fleet pound. |
