Nice find! It's Re-exported 1991+ Lada Sagona GLX (21099) form France. Front and back bumpers & spoiler lost. Stock view: It should be 'made for F' because of grill, spoiler (lost), bumpers (lost) and skirts (lost too). |

These can't be aftermaket add-ons? Maybe some small compay in Russia did such parts, maybe they were even based/influenced on/by French plastics. Too many parts are missing - the extended wheel arches also have been "lost". The shape of side skirt next to rear fender looks different... |

I don't think that it's some sort of Russian tuning which can be copied from French details. 99.9% that it's a REexported Lada Sagona. I can't say exactly, but 1/3 of all REexported Ladas in Russia forgot it's Dealer's details. It's very hard to save some unique details from Dealers in Russia because of roads, criminal and, just, it's typical breakage - not many details can survive after hard bump with snowdrift or pothole on the road. Some rare bumper or grille damaged, so, where you can find it there (If you only have some more rare Lada than Deutsche-Samara)? In this case people often not tried to find another Dealer's bumper or grille - they also removed it with standart grille or bumper... In our case we can see losed bumpers and spoiler. But, more better should be if i say that it's not a bumpers - just plastic skirts on it. As I wrote at hide, roads and snow can deprive you car these skirts in one moment! - You just can't see that one of them losed. Without one all bumper can't be in normal condition, and it's very hard to find it. The best variant is to pull off them - and you didn't spent your money! Example: But, the biggest problem in that, that some owners are not interested in Export details - they just need a car to ride (Also, by this way they go to other countries to buy Lada cheaper, than in Russia). Spoiler is another story - you can buy Sagona GLX in France Without Spoiler from Dealer too. And by the end - my example of Sagona/Samara GLS in Russia (From my city - Ulyanovsk): In my example you can't see some Dealer's modifications, besides spoiler, badges and spripes - everything rest is missing. ...So, I think we should make it 1991+ Lada Sagona GLX [21099], 'Made for F'. P.S. Sorry for my mistakes in text - I don't know English so good. -- Last edit: 2016-04-18 12:35:39 |

That's convincing ineed. I like this pic, that it shows how it was made. Generally I like these 1980s export Ladas with importers add-ons. -- Last edit: 2016-04-19 20:31:15 |
