1965 Singer Chamois by the chromed pieces on the boot. |

Agree Chamois and 1965my as launch date. In 1966 export models became Sunbeam so this could be either Singer or Sunbeam Chamois, but no way of telling which from these pictures in a 1967 film. |

As far I as know, Singer wasn't imported in France, so it should be a Sunbeam then, but I don't know any Sunbeam Chamois ...rather Imp Sport. |

This is a Chamois (not Imp sport) because of "the chromed pieces on the boot" and the number plate looks French (not UK) in thumb. If France never imported the Singer version, this becomes a Sunbeam with 1966+ date. |

Chamoises were imported to France as Singers till Autumn 1966 and as Sunbeam since that time. Such imports didn't last much. They were stopped in the late 60's, I think. This shoud be a Singer since it seems a bit used and not pretty new as a Sunbeam in this 1967 movie should look... I remember both the sales brochures (Singer and Sunbeam Chamoises) for the French market, even if both were quite rare cars (in Italy much rarer anyway, but I spotted one in a film for TV) |

Chamois and super imps had these stainless steel 'chrome' strips on the 'boot' but they could also be ordered on any new imp from the accessories list and were designed to protect the paintwork while loading through the opening rear window. |
