It cant be a 1984. The base model seats do not have adjustable headrests, these were installed on the 95-96 cherokees. Notice the 3 point back seatbelts, those weren't installed until the 1990 and later model years. Also note that the tail lights are US spec, foreign cherokees have the reverse light in the middle of the brake and turn signal lamps, probably filmed in the US. This is most likely a 1995 or 1996 base model cherokee with aluminum spoke wheels taken from a "country" model. |

This scene, like much of the film, was filmed in the Czech Republic. On the director's commentary, Doug Liman talks about how the house was under the flight path for Prague airport. The Cherokee could be a personal import or secondhand from a US serviceman in Germany. |
