It appears to be a 1962 to 1965 Silver Cloud III. |

I think Phantom 6, not Cloud - the scale of the front is too big compared to the foglight. |

The thumb image shows it is a Cloud III. You can see the badge on the lower boot lid edge, left hand side. Phantoms never carried any badges. |

OK - agree SC3. What I was trying to do was use the front proportions to distinguish SC3 from Phantom, with the gap from top of foglight to headlights as a guide, but this does not seem to work reliably. So 2 different questions: - do the overriders differ consistently - eg small as here = SC3, large ornate = Phantom (as a P5 /vehicle_81232-Rolls-Royce-Phantom-V-PV22.html or P6 /vehicle_148158-Rolls-Royce-Phantom-VI.html) - also are sidelights slightly below headlights on SC3 and further below on Phantom? |

Total production of Phantom VI was 332 cars. Total production of SC III (LWB and SWB together) was 2297 cars. The top corner of the rear screen on a Phantom was "squared off" compared with the Cloud/Bentley S bodyshell. The chances of it being a PVI are nearly 10:1 against on production figures, and confirmed by the back view, plus the comment from vdp4litrer above. There is another possibility, it might be a converted Bentley! |
