Another grille inspired by a kitchen spatula? |

I'll take it over today's blank-front cookie cutter jellybean cars any day! |

So you think again at your faboulous breakfast-inspirations at home, like fried fish, fried tomatoes, fried Haggis and baked beans for the same time ion the same plate, eeh? Sorry, but I think, you're wrong. For me it's rather inspired by a BBQ-grillage. Unfortunately the weather became bad the last days, otherwise I could present a photo of it in action (we've some charcoal, steaks and Bratwurst left). -- Last edit: 2010-10-16 19:00:49 |

Not fish and haggis on the same plate - it's an either/or - but otherwise correct. Spatulas, barbecues or whatever - I think we're on to something about the secret influences of car design - it's driven by food and cooking. I'm still struggling with the Nissan Juke though. |

The Nissan Juke is connecting with throwing up, not with eating. Citroen DS-freaks have told me, that the front-lamp-cover-glasses are a common bowl for salted nuts, potato chips (yes, "crisps" in the UK...) And Porsche 911-drivers are using the turbo-spoiler as a picknick-table. |

The slots in the road wheels of small British Fords (Eight, Ten, Anglia, Prefect, Popular etc.) between 1938-53 make perfect bottle-openers. There, you've all learned something today. |

Vaguely a scene of a children's TV-show comes in my mind, which I've seen as a child only once in the 70ies. About a family, who lost the car-keys during a picknick at a lake or so. Later on the father grilled a fish in a hubcap of an Opel Rekord C. More details are not rememberable. -- Last edit: 2010-10-16 23:26:59 |

I'd forgotten that one. It's always the bloke with the bobble hat who does the work. The bloke with the flat cap is out of shot trying to stop his whippet from leaping at the pork chop. |

Only if it's a limousine. |
