This is not a Limited. It is a 1995 only Orvis Edition. The Orvis Edition was supposed to be a competitor to Ford's Explorer Eddie Bauer. The Grand Cherokee Orvis Edition included such features as Up-Country Suspension, Ouadra-Trac four-wheel-drive, four wheel disc anti-lock brake system, power front seats upholstered in dark green ans champagne leather with roan red accents, and a unique spare tire cover with both zip and flap pockets, plus the Orvis logo. The exterior is Brilliant Moss Green with roan red and maize accents, Special Orvis badging (seen here in the cladding below the Grand Cherokee badge) on the body sides provided instant identification. This is a 1995 (first year of the Orvis Edition) based on the older (93-95) grille. Notice the Grand Cherokee badges on the door, the Orvis was the only 1995 model with the emblems there instead of the front fenders, in 1996 all Grand Cherokee badging moved to the doors. -- Last edit: 2011-10-04 00:00:21 |
