Looks like a DSpecial/DSuper.. |

Agree - the chromed doorhandles would make it a 1973+ D Super? |

DSuper indeed, per stainless steel indicator trumpets. The DSpécial had black plastic ones. The new doorhandles (chrome on all versions) make this a 1972+ version. Strange that there is no badge on the trunk lid. |

Israeli reflective strips on the rear bumper (instead of rubber blocks) ?? |

Mike (at the peril of disagreeing with the resident Freanch car expert ;-) ) - my info had it that the recessed doorhandles introduced in 1972 were unchromed on the non-DS models until the chromed handles (and window winders as on the DS) were fitted to the DSuper in 1973 together with power steering. Hence my 1973+ date. |

Sure, Citsa, but that applies to the interior door handles The exterior door handles always were metallic (I think rather stainless steel than chrome, but I'm not sure). |

OK, Mike - you might be right about it being the inside ones... As for the outside ones, the pre-1972 ones were chromed (pewter or similar), and from what I know, the later ones were AFAIK also chromed like those on the GS, just cannot check as both my post-1972 cars are currently very far away from me... |
