The BLS is also the ONLY Front wheel drive cadillac on sale in the UK. CTS= RWD SRX= 4WD ESCALADE= 4WD STS= RWD. |

The Escalade (2002-onward) is generally thought of as AWD, not 4WD. It powers all four wheels via a continuously variable torque distribution. Which is great for on-road use, not so great for off-road use. The Escalade cannot lock the torque distribution (torque split between the front and rear drive axles) which is an essential part of traditional 4WD vehicles, along with low range reduction gearing (which the Escalade also does not have). |
