I'm not a 2CV expert but my info suggests UK Charlestons had round lights from Feb 81 introduction to Jan 89 discontinuation. This may not be totally accurate as it does not explain a UK Charleston with rect lights, but my mental image of a Charleston is with round lights so this one looks odd to me. |

Not sure about that picture at all - is it RHD? CVZ 600N is not a legal UK number and the font is odd. |

This is strange indeed... I think it was in Austria or Switzerland where the Charleston had to have the rectangular headlamps, not in the UK for sure. But this is a RHD car... And in 1984 it wasn't common yet to repaint 'normal' 2CVs as a Charleston. Also one can see the light grey upholstery, indicating a 1982+ version. |
