1985-1988 Chevrolet C-30 ambulance; the grille is just barely visible to allow for identification.

Is this actually a K-30? Comments?

I don’t think so. If it were, it would have an offset front differential and a live (solid beam) front axle, as those are needed for four-wheel-drive.

It’s hard to tell from the angle of view if the front underpinnings are IFS or live axle. But I cannot see a front differential unit and front hubs do not appear to be locking.

On my truck, the GM Corporate 10-bolt live front axle and offset front differential are very visible indicating the front wheels are "drive-wheels" and receive torque from the engine. The front drive assembly of a K-30 is a bit more robust than a K-10 (V-10) but the principle design is the same.
