It is not the Kübelwagen, but the prototype of the Schwimmwagen, which later became the Typ 128 and Typ 166. It was designed by Erwin Komenda, the Porsche bodywork designer, and built by Daus. A Typ 82 was converted for this prototype. At that time 'Volkswagen' was already in use. |
