Could be those two Cadillac Airport Limousine built by Hess & Eisenhardt in 1946? http://www.car-nection.com/yann/Dbas_ima/47h&ebus.jpg

Or perhaps a '43 Chevy Military Limousine? http://my.net-link.net/~dcline/limoair1.htm and scroll down 2/3

I agree on a 1942 Chevrolet 4X2 15 seater US Army military coach by the Fitzjohn Coach Company built from the 1942 Chevrolet Sedan

From Coachbuit.com: George believes this to be a 1942 Chevy "Bus" Sedan, converted 15 passenger 4x2 US Army "BG1503" 6-cyl. 83 HP 3F1R Military conversion by Fitzjohn Coach Company of Muskegon, Michigan. As a means of saving critical rubber and helping to eliminate traffic bottlenecks at the aircraft and other production plants, Fitzjohn developed this 15 passenger Defense Workers Coach from a standard 5 passenger Chevy sedan. The body framework was white ash with exterior panels of tempered Masonite Presswood Seats are full cross type seating 3 passengers each.

Used Defense Workers Coach as model name based on the previuos info. If you think it needs another proper model name (Chevrolet "Bus" Sedan?), tell me...
