Both the advertisement and the chart refer to it as an International Truck, mot an International Harvester. |

Big Dave's comment moves me to ask - do we combine all of the entries under International and International Harvester? To me it has always been just plain International. I know the early high wheeler cars were badged IHC, but all of the trucks have been badged as International as far as I know. |

They've never been strictly International until Navistar became the new name and owner of the company, so no. The acronymns and logos have been "IH" and "IHC" for a reason, and it includes the name "Harvester." -- Last edit: 2010-08-21 05:46:35 |

From what I read here - http://www.navistar.com/Navistar/Inside+Navistar/History - I presume anything pre 1987 should be in the International Harvester section. There is the odd high wheeler, tractors and odd van etc in the International section. |
