That's a GT model --- with a unique front and rear appearance from 1987 through 1993. It couldn't be a 1987 because YELLOW was not available on GT models that year. BTW -a Jonquil/Yellow (code 6H) was a one-year-only color for 1987 LX models --- but NOT the GT. A Tropical Yellow (code 66) was introduced in 1988 for the LX models --- once again NOT the GT. The "66" code became available on the 1989 GT models but only for one year --- so the photo likely depicts a 1989 model. -- Last edit: 2023-10-20 16:58:27 |

not sure if MelTX is right, checked Tropical Yellow and Almond, both of them giving me LX/LX 5.0 only in the results ( both also list this interior color as being the only one available , maybe its just a really rare one ) if really an official color, it would be accurate without molding stripe and airbag and this mirror position moving it to 1988 for now as some convertibles of that model year did had the mirror like this -- Last edit: 2022-06-08 18:39:39 |
