This looks to be one of the rare Police Packages offered for the Intrepid. I don't have a definitive year for these but with those rims, it looks like it's a 1994-1995 only. 1996-97 were used as Police Vehicles though. So the previous ones were just unofficial packages/custom jobs? -- Last edit: 2019-07-03 22:08:35 |

@Terra. They were purchased by departments but they were regular Intrepids without any heavy duty equipment/police equipment from the factory. Basically they were all civilian models prior to 2002. Departments added light bars, pushbars, and all the police jazz. Here is a nice site to peruse when you have time. It discusses all the police package models here in the states: http://www.policecarwebsite.net/policepackage/intrepid9.html - this is the Intrepid page. http://www.policecarwebsite.net/policepackage/intrepid.html - This is the article for the Intrepid 2002-2004. Neat site. I'll add it to my bookmarked sites. Good information to know too. |

The first generation of the Concorde and Intrepids were made in two factories, one in Canada and one in Newark Delaware USA |
