For me this is a Bentley too but the plate comes back to a Rolls.

Maybe the plate has been changed since the movie was shot?

Don't sometimes people have a Rolls cosmetically changed to a Bentley and vice-versa?

Bentley to RR, yes; I've never heard of RR to Bentley, there doesn't seem much point. I reckon the plate's been transferred.

Also features in the African Child video:

Although this is listed under Rolls-Royce, that might possibly be an error. HPI Check gives the year as 1985. The dashboard may provide some clues, this looks like it has the non-airbag steering wheel from the earlier models. This also has a name plate behind the front wheel arch.

Now I know how the dashboard design changed over the years (and for different models) I can say this wouldn't have been a Turbo R originally because that never had those digital clocks, only the Mulsanne and Mulsanne Turbo did. And it is indeed a 1985 model because the digital display was redesigned and chrome knobs were added to the dash. Howver since there's no sign of any Bentley logo between the digital clocks, so I think this probably was a Rolls as Hpi says. The rear doors are LWB so assuming the front and rear came from the same car, that would make this a Silver Spur.

To make it look cooler?

I've had all mine done - it was the only way I could persuade the servants to accept the installation of Perkins diesels in their cars.

Changed to RR Silver Spur, based on evidence mentioned above.

I think I've found a match: Link to "www.classic-auctions.com" (a Jankel conversion)

99BXH (obviously a cherished plate) is now on a Range-Rover, perhaps C650XLO was its original registration.

Old money = Bentley but only pre German takeover.
New money, footballists, arrivistes, war profiteers, Royal family, = Rolls-Royce, or modern Bentley.

You will, of course, be aware of my choice of vehicle.

From https://cazana.com/uk/car/C650XLO - "This 1985 Rolls-Royce on numberplate C650 XLO was first registered on 23 December 1985 near London NW. It had been previously registered under 99 BXH. This vehicle had 9 previous owners before the current keeper acquired it. It was painted blue/blue previously.
November 2011 Numberplate change 99 BXH to C650 XLO
February 2007 Numberplate change C650 XLO to 99 BXH
"

DVLA has C650 XLO as black Rolls-Royce, untaxed since Nov 2012. However DVLA MOT calls it a Bentley Brooklands with otherwise same dates/details, and it had done 100,661 miles at the last MOT test in November 2011, Pass with just one advisory for "near side rear wheel cover rattling".
