Note the 4 wheel steering. Proved unsteady at highway speeds but was incredible off-road. |

This IS NOT a Willys. It is one of 8 four-wheel steer BRCs made by Bantam in late 1940 for evaluation by the US Cavalry at Ft. Holabird, MD. Willys didn't "steal" the Jeep from Bantam until about 8 months after this vehicle was produced and delivered. |

Yes one of 8 of the initial 70 from Bantam. Not sure where in the line of 69 following the Pilot the 4 wheel steers were produced? |
