In the French version they translated that as "it's an electric car" or something like that, as Geo is completely unknown here (only known as Suzuki Swift, which is not an electric car actually...)

Ned Flanders doesn't always drive this. Most of the time he drive a blue station wagon.

In German he says "this is a diesel!", if I remember well. :D

I have just seen the episode and what they really say is, "No puedo es un utilitario!" which means "I can't, its a compact car!" :p

"utilitario" means compact car? :??:

Edit : indeed, one fo the two meanings is that... http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autom%C3%B3vil_utilitario
(other one is what I was guessing, i.e. same as French "utilitaire")

And a blue one from the same episode. Haven't seen this episode because I stopped watching The Simpsons years ago (I believe it's gone very downhill since its 90s heyday), so I don't know if it's also meant to be Ned's car:

in Québec's version : C'est impossible , c'est une Geo...
but i'm curious to know what they would have said if the episode was translated before 1992.... :)

The episode is from January 10, 1999, so that wouldn't be possible.
