One of the better '80s cars. I still see these around.

I agree, I really like the one used by the bad guys in Fargo.

Yes, all the versions were good, durable cars.
My '94 Cutlass Ciera S is still running strong and looking good with well over 100,000 miles.

'80s cars are interesting because you have a cross between the boxy look of the '70s and the aerodynamic stylings of the '90s. Of course, it really began to take off in 1985 with the introduction of the Taurus/Sable. I have to say, when I was a kid in the '90s, I thought Oldsmobiles were the ugliest cars around. My grandparents had a big honkin' Olds Cutlass from the early '80s, lol. Now I've come to appreciate the styling of these older cars, and I think it's really a shame that Oldsmobile was closed up several years ago. Same for Pontiac this year.

Yeah the GM A-bodies are definitely some of the best of the 80's. Friends of mine have a 1987 Celebrity wagon they paid $400 for 5 years ago and it runs like a clock.

Not to mention the Saturn and the Mercury, Modell.
Sad.

I always wondering.......what was the car meant be be in V-5.
(After all , we seems never got a answer on that.)

They never actually say what it was. I would have assumed Neil would have wanted something somewhat luxurious so in my mind it would have been something like a higher trim G-Body (Cutlass/Regal).

Actually they do say what car he was supposed to have. When he gets dropped off, the bus driver says "V-5, white Lincoln Town Car".
