Who changed this to 1983? It's as mentioned above, it's a 1982 car.

Sometimes I wonder about the competency of the people who moderate this site...

Nov 1982 would be 1983 model year, no?
(I do not know who changed it though)

Unless the year of manufacture/first registration of the car is not known, then by all means, go by 'model year', otherwise, use the year of manufacture/first registration (as listed above).

The whole 'model year' concept is stupid in my opinion anyway.

Well we use model year in all cases, the manufacture year helping to know the model year in some cases.
But if there are no changes between 1982 & 1983 models, here we should list it as 1982 since we are not sure it was build as 1983 model instead of 1982 (it could have waiting few months in a showroom)
The concept is stupid, but it is used by car makers, so we have to follow.
I already used that example often, but my Peugeot 106 bought in summer 2001 had some new details of the 2002 model, which I did not expect. But it was probably one of the first 2002-specs models build then...

1983-84 models were given a slightly facelifted grille:
Compare: 1981-82 to 1983-84
So 1982 is correct.
