 @dhill_cb7, before you change all the 'A' VINs to USA, please be aware of the fact that the A is a part of the euro/'normal' MB VIN serial numbers

For the US style numbers, you should normally also find the model year at the tenth position like you are used to - but Mercedes has not always followed these rules
