@Terra. Russian built Blazers were 1997+: https://www.rferl.org/a/1082715.html - GM signed the joint venture in 1995. This article mentioned the first one coming off the assembly line in December of 1996: https://www.wardsauto.com/news-analysis/gm-ironing-out-russian-blazer-deal - as a 1997 MY. @Gamer, Screw13, or anyone else from that part of the world? Edit: Here is one I believe is an accurate example of a Russian built one: http://www.bibika.ru/catalog/_chevrolet/_blazer/5711843# -- Last edit: 2019-08-15 21:34:08 |

Thanks Gamer! Wow this has solved an extremely long dilemma for me. As we do here in the US when the vehicle is made here we don't use the 'made for' tag. I removed 'Made for' Russia as this one is built there and the rules states to not double up if it was assembled in the same country of the intended market. I changed the Built in Brazil to Built in Russia though. I doubt a Brazilian version made its way to Russia when they were assembling their own models based on Brazilian joint venture. |
