It looks like a 1973. After the facelift before the new rear end.

The license plate is designed after a Virginia plate first issued in 1975 to celebrate the 1976 Bicentennial. However, it's a fake since the actual plates had the format 123-456.

I think the Corvette is 1970-1972 based on the bumpers and the side vents.

Agree.
Enough views to leave little doubt it's in the '70 to '72 range.

1971. Amber parking lens on front is late '71-72. The rear view show NO alarm system which was optional is '71 and became standard in '72. This is late production 1971.

I noticed the parking lamps, but with the bulbs burning, you can't really tell.
Are the lenses amber or is the bulb itself amber?

Commander57 ,I had same thoughts. There is another reference to a Cutlass that shows the amber lens more clearly.

OK, thanks.
Will leave as '71 on that basis.

This beautiful car now resides in Seattle. You should update as a 1972 not 1971.

Beautiful car regardless. A '72 should have the standard anti-theft alarm activation switch in the rear center. Without actually seeing the VIN it would be a 1971. There may have been an alarm delete option for '72 but I am not aware of it?

VIN is 1Z37K2S502552. Sixth position is a 2 so it is a 72. I will have to check to see if the key lock hole for the ant theft has been filled in. It was early production so maybe that was the issue.
