Not the E-350? |

I can't tell. Chances are it's either an E-250 or an E-350. However, one thing I can say is that those side mirrors came on pre-2003 models. I don't know why this van has them. |

I can't remember where exactly but I was browsing a US film prop company's website and they had a few older E-Series news vans with the 2008 on front. Maybe one of those? |

I almost want to say it's the same exact van as the one in your link Gag, but the satellite equipment on top doesn't quite match. I ran the plate on the one in the link through the California Smog Test site and it's listed as a 1996 model. This would make sense as apart from the older-style mirrors, it has the older steering wheel. As for Sandie's question, it's possible but I find it strange that it would be done as it can't be too easy. It's not a matter of just interchanging the headlights and grille. Due to the larger size of it, the sheet metal would also have to be changed on the front side fenders, as well as the front bumper and the hood. It would be quite complicated. But as the link shows, it's been done. And it's false advertisement as it's listed as a 2008 model ![]() Perhaps we should leave this one as-is for now. |

Picture Car Warehouse have a 1995 Ford news van that looks to be the same colour as the one in the capture. http://www.picturecarwarehouse.net/details.php?id=5569 |

But it's clearly not the same van. |

I've found the ones I mentioned earlier here: http://www.cinemavehicles.com/store_inventory.asp Under news vehicles they have four older E-Series all of whom converted to the new front. |

Nice find Sandie! However, this particular one is not one of those four. So far we haven't had any of these conversions on the site but looks like we're going to have to look out for them now. |
