Wasn't it called XK-E in the US? Scene looks european ... -- Last edit: 2010-06-02 08:22:25 |

Or Hollywood backlot European . More likely to be XK-E, therefore. (Apart from club meets etc., when was the last time you saw two E-types together?) |

It's one more scene, made in the "European village" of the Universal Studios. See here /vehicle.php?id=306733 or in many other US-productions of the late 60ies and 70ies We had some fun about that before. |

Due the (surely faked) plates of the other cars from this episode, it shall be set in Austria. |

I think that's the European Street at Universal Studios. http://universal.filmmakersdestination.com/content/european-street |

Yes, I think I know that particular "European Street" from an episode of "The Rockford Files" where it was just as convincing. Although the picture suggests something different, not everyone in Europe was driving an E-Type back in the 70s... |

1964+ S1 4.2 as 3 lines of rear badge. Yellow one is S1 or S2 - most detail obscured, but tints suggests S2 more likely. -- Last edit: 2011-03-29 00:34:40 |
