Yes, Chevrolet Monte Carlo. |

Any reason to believe this is a Monte Carlo SS? |

I am not sure since I can't see the SS script on the side of the car |

I can barely see anything on either the side or the grille. But this has to have been made between 1981 and 1987. |

Ironicly probably the same car jesse had before... |

The SS models didn't start until 1983, and I don't remember Chevy changing the look of that model through it's run. |

Kind of late to the party... anyway, I thought only the SS models had the aerodynamic front? The regular Monte Carlos had a more square front, like the one Jesse drives. |

The car is a 1987 Monte Carlo SS "Aero-Coupe". Chevrolet only made Monte carlos with aero glass for 2 years (1986 and 1987). The flush rear bumper skin identifies it as a 1987, 1986 models had a distinctive gap between the trunklid and bumper skin. The car is Most definitely an "SS" because aero glass rear windows were not an option available on base "LX", "LT" and "CL" models. |
