No stoneguard, no chrome trim and what appears to be a chambered hood - it looks very prewar. Yet the crankhole and wheels are postwar... Could this be one of the earliest examples, made 1945-46 in limited numbers before serial production resumed in 1947? EDIT: Very helpful model and year-by-year changes described in Dutch: Link to "www.catawiki.com" I don't understand much Dutch, but I can see production restarted in December 1945 (1946 MY) and the 1946 models were delivered "as in 1939" including Pilote wheels. -- Last edit: 2020-08-09 09:07:52 |
