Consultez http://home.roadrunner.com/~fsheff/pits5f.htm et lisez l'article du magazine Road & Track (septembre 1959) à ce sujet. On y présente la voiture numéro 6 comme un « dummy » donc ce ne serait pas une vraie voiture de course (elle ressemble quand même à une Aston DB3). Elle n'a pas de moteur (tout comme la voiture 31) et est, en fait, remorquée par la Jaguar blanche. La Jaguar « lancera » la voiture 6 sur l'Austin Healy. Sur une des photos de Road & Track on voit clairement sur la voiture 6 l'attache qui la retenait à la Jaguar (visible aussi sur la plus grande des photos ci-dessus - le rectangle blanc tout juste derrière la roue avant gauche). -- Last edit: 2010-09-09 06:21:18

coldplugs ◊ 2016-03-14 22:23	I'm pretty sure this car is an MG special based on an MG-TC and built by John Edgar and Ernie McAfee and raced frequently on the US west coast in the 50's. It's easily found via Google by searching for "John Edgar MG special". An article in Road & Track magazine years ago mentioned that it was destroyed in this movie. -- Last edit: 2016-03-14 22:24:16
