Even though this is film in Turkey, is this vehicle Italian version? |

I wa thinking about it too, but don't know what are regulations in Turkey. "Italian" MB from FYEO: /vehicle_12575-Mercedes-Benz-200-D-W115-1968.html |

@Weasel, @rljuna2: this looks very much like an Italian version. Very much cars (sometimes the most, for example Mercedes, Opel and Ford) were imported to Turkey from Turkish workers from several other European countries. The selling-numbers of officially imported new cars was much lower, compared with the imports of used cars. I remember that from my childhood in the 70ies. When the summer-vacations started, the Turkish "guest-workers" (so the euphemistic term in Germany) have started with totally overloaded cars (often Mercedes W 114, W110, W 123, Opel Rekord, Ford Consul/Granada - and for sure Transit) back home. The cars were packed with fridges, washing-machines, all kind of furniture. All this stuff -the cars often, too- were brought to their families in Eastern Anatolia. |
