Looks very similar to this vehicle identified as a 1976 Gardner Denver 2000 on a Crane Carrier Corp. chassis: http://www.edlivingston.com/GD-2000%201976%20739-10%20Pic%203.jpg and http://www.edlivingston.com/GD-2000%201976%20739-10%20Pic%201.jpg - the headlights are in a different position, but other details like the grill and the red-text name plate on the truss match. I found it here: http://www.edlivingston.com/oilfieldequip.htm As far as I can tell, it's a piece of oil-drilling equipment, I think a mobile drilling rig and/or pump. Questions: Is Crane Carrier Corp. the same as CCC? Should this be listed as a Crane Carrier Corp./CCC or as a Gardner Denver? EDIT: I answered one of my own questions, thanks to Wikipedia. Crane Carrier Corp. IS the same as CCC. -- Last edit: 2010-05-08 00:57:37 |
