'98 was the first year for the V70 in the U.S. |

In the most recent episode (4.08), Hank IDs the car as a "10-year-old Volvo" which makes this an '01 V70. |

In 2001 Volvo V70 Gen.2 was released in North America according to wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volvo_V70 This is a Volvo V70 Gen.1. However Wikipedia isn ́t always the most reliable source and neither is actors statements in movies as proven many times before on imcdb. Well, if this is definitely a Gen. 1, it can't be any older than 2000 so I guess it needs to be changed back to '98. Sorry about the mix-up, fellas. Misidentified by a character as MY 2001. Rear angle can be seen here: /vehicle_424134-Toyota-Corolla-E140-2009.html Also seen in Ep. 4.11: -- Last edit: 2012-10-07 06:42:06 |

"10 year old" can also be a rough estimate...Hank didn't necessarily say it was exactly 10 years old. |

The first four seasons all take place during 2008, so Hank is correct when he says it's 10 years old. |

I would like to know what happened to the 1998 Volvo that was on your show. If anyone knew the VIN number or information on it's whereabouts I would appreciate it very much. Thank you! |
