Have we six ADO71 only? Amazing. :O I don't know why this car is so underrated. It's unique looking & elegant sedan. I love its wave lines.

The Austin/Morris/Wolseley 18-22 versions were only in production for less than a year before being re-branded as 'Princess' (manufactured by Leyland Cars Ltd.).

Quantities on IMCdB currently
6 - Austin ADO71
1 - Morris ADO71
2 - Wolseley ADO71
32 - Princess ADO71

Plus four of the coachbuilt funeral cars etc.

I must admit it lines remain remarkably 'modern' even today, but it suffered I guess from quality, poor development, and confused marketing at a time when Leyland Cars were struggling also with funding and labour problems. The buying public continued to buy more reliable and conservatively designed large saloons instead.

Indeed. Firstly I clicked "ADO71" mark and got 6 answers only.
"ADO71" taped on search mode gave me 2 pages, indeed.

All Leyland 70s cars suffered less or more, due to same shortcomings. :X

And good to know, this one is still alive :sun: after flood.
