Is that 1967 version? |

According this site the car is a 1968 Camaro. Others sites say it's a 1969 SS. |

It's either a 1967 or a 1968...definitely not a 1969. The third thumbnail looks like it might have some body filler where the 1968-specific side marker lights would be. Or am I seeing things? |

Wow I would not be surprised if this car was the main inspiration for The General Lee from Dukes of Hazzard |

if it jumps everywhere to avoid a Dodge Coronet with flashing lights i'll say yes in a heartbeat... wait, even if it doesn't .. ![]() -- Last edit: 2023-07-25 02:57:27 |

This car is both a 1967 and 1968 Chevrolet Camaro RS. In some shots you can see the round driver's mirror and in other shots you can see the almost square driver's mirror. The duct tape on the roll cage above the driver's side at the front window is not placed in the exact same places. So I think that is proof that there were at least two cars filmed in the making of this movie. It makes sense when you think about the part in the movie where the car drives off a shack and then backs up. The car in real life would have fallen on its front end and been totaled. The hood is not one of the SS hoods and the rear has spots for the RS lights. |
