Vauxhall Cresta [PC], I'd say... |

it is a very-very rare Estate version (not factory made). I saw a lot of Vauxhall PCs but I don't think I ever saw an estate car. Cresta 'PC' Estate - edit: conversion by Martin Walter from January 1967 according to Wikipedia? -- Last edit: 2010-03-20 14:39:11 |

Jan 67 - Feb 68 only, based on Deluxe. Offered through dealerships as fully approved Vauxhall product (just like Ford did with Abbots conversions of Zephyrs, Zodiacs and Corsairs). Similar arrangement for PB Crestas and Veloxes (Nov 63 onwards, again Martin Walter) and PA Crestas and Veloxes (April 59+, done by Friary). There were Grosvenor and Martin Walter estates on Velox [E] - discussion here. |

I had the luck to see one in 1978 in the Italian Riviera. It was burgundy and obviously with a GB plate. -- Last edit: 2023-12-15 20:00:33 |
