Actually, that steering wheel was also used in 1991. I have an Academy Gray 1991 Cadillac Sedan DeVille that looks identical to Eddie's - right down to the gray leather interior. And the movie was filmed from July 29th to August 31st 1991 according to imdb.com, making it a month too early for the production company to use a 1992 model.
