1961/62 (new bonnet, old wipers (without electric engine) AZL3 (third side window), built in Belgium (grey headlamps, third side window placed rather far to the exterior, different taillights), made for D (license plate lights located far to the exterior to give place to the long German license plates). Edit: the taillights are made by Sabel, and one can see that the upper part is lighter than the lower part. This means the indicators have already moved from the C-pillar to the front and the rear, which happened in May 1961. -- Last edit: 2010-04-25 18:30:38 |

Thanks for this front pic, Ralph. Nice to see the Belgian aluminium bumper, hubcaps and stone guard. I wonder what the dark dots on the ventilation flap under the windscreen could be... |

by the way, the round Frese mirror is also typical for German 60ies 2CV (like the Hella license plate lights, which are black on this car and close to the plate, so I guess they replaced the original AXO lights - normally they are grey and placed directly beside the rear lights) -- Last edit: 2010-08-30 23:24:51 |
