This vehicle belonged to Inter-County Ambulance Service, based in Chalfont St Peter, UK. I was a paramedic there when this ambulance was delivered. The vehicle is a Wheeled Coach, imported new via De Vries in the Netherlands in 1986. Whilst I was at Inter-County we did quite a bit of film and TV work; I remember Superman, World’s Strongest Man and a movie called Three Kinds of Heat. We provided medical cover for many more. Our other vehicles included a 1984 GMC and a Range Rover. |
