Thanks! It's a kind of "Scandinavian speciality", you can say. It's a 1973+ Standard version (new "aerodynamic" front, but rectangular lamps and no rubbers on the bumper). Due the dirt the colour is hard to identify, probably the 1973 "sumatragrün". "Scandinavian speciality", because the Standard-version was not very popular in other countries. There the most customers have chosen the "L"-edition with some luxoury-features (like better seat-cloth and carpets, trims somewhere - which was "luxoury" in the eyes of Volkswagen...) Not to forget: this car has a 1.6 liter-75 hp-engine. In some export countries, mainly Scandinavia, you had the choice "basic model with the small engine or better interior with the bigger engine" (90 hp 1971-73, 100 hp 1973-75). -- Last edit: 2010-02-19 22:11:20 |
