A lot of the old Mobil street sweepers did look like late-1950's IHC's. /vehicle_84459-Mobil-Street-Sweeper.html -- Last edit: 2010-02-15 17:10:40 |

Athey Products Corp in Wake Forest, NC, USA bought Mobil Sweeper line in 1975 (you can often find later models branded as "Athey-Mobil"), but I can't find where/who they bought it from. So, this is pre-Athey... Athey went bankrupt in 2000. I can't find very much information about the company on the web now. edit: oh we even have four Athey vehicles listed on imcdb! lol -- Last edit: 2010-02-16 23:11:01 |

Mobil sweepers originally were owned by the Conveyor Co. located in Los Angeles before Athey Products Corp was the parent. |

They also were a product of American Hoist I have a 1969 ad with this same type of "round nose" mobil in it. |
