This is, I belive, one of the late 1953 or 1954 pre-prototypes, made according to the "Przedprototyp I". I think the prototypes from late 1954 and 1955 had already one piece windshild - same like car introduced at the MTP in 1955. It is not "Przedprototyp I", as this one had bumper of Warszawa. -- Last edit: 2018-06-25 21:49:24 |

This is one of five prototypes made in autumn 1954 - March 1955 period of time, I suppose. http://www.polskie-auta.pl/syrena/sppr.html |

I read this, however A. Zieliński clearly write about two series of prototypes (and two experimetnal rallies). The one from MTP belongs to the second one. The front window is or important or is only a detail... -- Last edit: 2010-02-11 17:12:44 |

Could be one-piece (!) windshield, same as MTTP white car and other three spring-1955 prototypes. It was probably made from two pieces of glass. Gave some strange light reflects, good visible here: http://www.polskie-auta.pl/syrena/sppr-01.jpg I think this car is third one. |

Ok, can be - this windshild was strange indeed. There is also something for DynaMike! In the link ( http://www.polskie-auta.pl/syrena/sppr-01.jpg )is also a bit visible a Panhard Dyna Z, which together with some other foreign cars (4CV, DKW 3-6, Goliath 700E ), was used in the 6000 km long experimetnal rally of Syrena prototypes in summer of 1954. The point was to compare Syrenas with other vehicles. EDIT. New book of S. Drązkiewicz "Syrena - samcohód popularny FSO" makes it clear - it must be summer 1955 and exactly 25.08.55 - this day TV visited the experimental rally. -- Last edit: 2020-01-16 21:00:38 |
