Those wheels were introduced in 1989 I believe. |

I guess it could be 1988, as this wheel was optional that year. |

This might be another 1991+ ZR-1. |

Wow. A risky way to unload a car from the water. |

Very interesting: Car has 1988-89 style Wheels, Car is ZR-1 factory-built 1990-1996 with Mercruiser Marnie built GM/Lotus LT-5 engine the $30k engine option basically doubled the price of the car. Note: The wider 11" rear wheels were only on Prototype cars with the 1989 style flat center caps that were never on public sold cars. Dashboard is 1990 to 1996, but bumpers are 1991-1996. So it is either a 1990 early prototype car with the 1989 prototype wheels (not likely as most of the 1988-90 prototype ZR-1 cars were scrapped by GM) or likely it is a 1990 model and someone got a hold of some 1989 ZR-1 prototype wheels. |

optional in 1988, standard in 1989, the wider 11" rear ZR-1 wheels were only made like this for the prototype cars in 1989, the 1990 looked similar but had no big flat center caps but instead a recessed center. Car has 1990 dashboard and ZR1 LT5 engine. |

Shouldn't this have 5 stars? The movie was centered around this car. |
