The PADDY WAGON was originally built in 1972 by Gary Watson in Corpus Christi,Tx. In the mid 1970's the car was sold to Jack Ehrmantraut (driver of the Hemi Under Glass wheelstander) and driven by Joe Antonelli.

At the beginning of the 1981 season the car was bought by Bob Hall 'The King of the Wheelstanders'. Bob campaigned the Paddy Wagon through 2011 making appearances at over 200 tracks and on various TV Shows. In it's nearly 40 year history, the PADDY WAGON has made over 5000 runs on its rear wheels, making it the most prolific single wheelstander ever built.

In 2011 the Paddy Wagon was slated for retirement but was purchased by Alyson Kurtas and Ken Hall.
