Talk about one stupid, ugly looking cop car! And if you could afford a Rolls...would you get one in Canary Yellow? But, that was Rosco. His suit just about matches the car. This is from the famous 2-hour 4th season episode "10 Million Dollar Sheriff." |

I am not sure it is much better than the current main pic |

One weird thing about this 2 part episode the police cars in this episode had the code 3 force 4 xl 48" light-bar. Whereas the entire series with exception of "Happy Birthday General Lee where that one they had the twin beacon federal visi-bar setup-a la Jackie Gleason's Sheriff car in Smokey and the Bandit. The common light-bar used in the series was the federal signal aerodynic light-bar or aka jetsonic style. -- Last edit: 2014-08-22 04:17:12 |

I always assumed Rosco bought new light bars for cledus' car. I think the actual reason was from what i've seen in production pics, the cop cars are transported to filming locations and fitted with the bar afterwords. So it's possible they were sharing this light bar with the regular hazzard police cars in certain scenes. |
